We draw inspiration from our roots – the experience of people living in the Nordic countries for millennia. The weather conditions typical of these latitudes – hot summer days and extremely cold winters – have forced us to look for various means to protect people from the desires of the climate. The warmth of the sauna invented in Scandinavia allowed to warm up even after the coldest day. Meanwhile, the ice of lakes or rivers cut in the winter and buried underground not only became a great helper in freezing food, but it also revived people on a hot summer day.
