NØRDIS ULTIMA Air-to-Water Heat Pump Warranty Terms:
-
During the warranty period, the importer undertakes to repair or replace, free of charge, any defects caused by the manufacturer’s fault.
The warranty is valid only if the installation and commissioning were performed by qualified specialists authorized by the importer and in accordance with the manufacturer’s technical requirements.
Warranty service applies only to units with a properly completed and signed commissioning report and warranty certificate.
Warranty maintenance can only be performed by certified specialists with the required qualifications. -
Warranty period:
A 60-month warranty is provided for NØRDIS ULTIMA air-to-water heat pumps (or 36 months if the unit is not connected to the NØRDIS Service system).
During the warranty period, it is mandatory to perform preventive maintenance once per year, and after each inspection, the service engineer must record the work in the NØRDIS Service system.
Each completed inspection extends the warranty by one year, but no longer than the specified maximum warranty period.
If mandatory annual maintenance is not performed, the warranty period is 12 months — until the first required inspection.
Annual preventive maintenance is not included in warranty service and is performed according to the rates set by the service company.
The warranty period starts from the commissioning date, but no later than 3 months after the purchase date. -
Warranty repair does not renew or extend the original warranty period of the heat pump.
-
The warranty does not cover any indirect damages or losses caused by heat pump failure during the warranty period.
-
The warranty is void if:
-
The buyer/end user or unauthorized third parties attempted to repair the unit.
-
The hydraulic system or components were selected incorrectly.
-
Electrical installation work was performed improperly.
-
The system was not filled with a 40% propylene glycol solution (or 30% ethylene glycol if used for heating/cooling only) or the unit was not connected to a backup power source.
-
The unit was connected to an old, contaminated, or unclean system.
-
A magnetic dirt filter or buffer tank was not installed in the heating system.
-
Protective fittings (including expansion vessels, safety valves, etc.) were missing or installed incorrectly in the heating or domestic hot water systems.
-
The unit was used for purposes other than intended.
-
Faults were caused by an aggressive environment.
-
Faults were caused by unstable or improper power supply (voltage fluctuations, etc.).
-
Installation or commissioning was performed by persons not authorized by the importer or lacking appropriate qualifications.
-
Annual preventive maintenance was not performed, and/or the maintenance records were not entered in the NØRDIS Service system.
-
-
Important:
The user must ensure that service technicians performing installation, commissioning, maintenance, or warranty repair have free access to the heat pump and can begin work immediately.
The user must also provide, free of charge, all necessary means for service — such as a power source, access to the heat pump (removal of construction or furniture obstacles), or lifting equipment if required.
Any parts replaced under warranty become the property of the seller.
